Konsulatet i Danmark udsteder ikke længere visa til Mongoliet. Fra 16. August 2021 er der fra Mongoliet oprettet en ny officiel E-visa hjemmeside – https://evisa.mn/main# – hvor alle typer af visa kan ansøges.

As of August 4, 2021, the number of new coronavirus infections reached 162874 in Mongolia. The government of Mongolia, all emergency agencies and health organizations are still working hard and operating 24 hours to prevent from the COVID 19 since January, 2020.

The vaccination began in late February in Mongolia. Mongolia’s efforts to source vaccines (Pfizer, AstraZeneca, ​​ Sputnik V, Vero Cell) are focused on India, Russia, China as well as assistance from the Covax initiative. As of August 20, 2021, 78.6% of all population fully vaccinated. Vaccination for 16-17 year old citizens begun from June 20. Around 10,000 children of 84,000 from those ages got their first shot. The following passengers are allowed to enter from 10 May 2021.

MONGOLIA ENTRY RESTRICTIONS: Passengers are allowed to enter Mongolia from the first week of June 2021. But that’s only for airline passengers. The country’s borders still remain closed for passengers on land transport.

ENTRY REQUIREMENTS TO MONGOLIA: All passengers must present a negative Covid-19 PCR test which is taken within 72 hours before arrival.

WHO WILL BE IN THE QUARANTINE? Passengers will be quarantined for 14 days arriving in Mongolia from the countries (India and Great Britain) with Delta variant spreads.
All persons arriving in Mongolia who have not been fully vaccinated against coronavirus infection (COVID-19) shall be quarantined at designated facilities for 7 days and PCR tests shall be taken on the 3rd and 6th days. The quarantine will end if there are no symptoms and the results of PCR tests are negative. In case, PCR test results are positive, an individual shall be transferred to a hospital for treatment.

WHO CAN VISIT MONGOLIA WITHOUT QUARANTINE? Persons arriving in Mongolia 14 days after receiving the full dose of the coronavirus (COVID-19) vaccines upon presenting proof of vaccination or those who were diagnosed earlier with a coronavirus infection (COVID-19) and fully recovered upon presenting antibody test results or other medical documents shall be exempted from quarantine.
